Hardscaping is any solid structure in an outdoor area that is not plant life is considered Hardscape. Some examples of Hardscape features include driveways, patios, fountains, fire pits, and walkways. Hardscaping refers to any man-made structure within landscaping design that is made of materials such as gravel, brick, wood, pavers, and Stone.
1. Fire pits- a built-in outdoor fireplace/ made out of blocks, or stone. A fire pit can be made for cooking, or just having a fire together around. Pleasantly making your outdoor space more livable, and relaxing. 2. Stone or paver pathways/walkways- walkways provide access to different parts of your garden or outdoor area. They can be made out of many kinds of stone, Flagstone, or pavers. 3. Retaining walls- our load-bearing walls from 3 to 15 ft in height. Sets of boundary of a garden at the top or bottom of a hill. 4. Gazebos and pergolas- freestanding or attached structures in an outdoor living space are forms of hardscaping. They provide shade and shelter during outdoor gatherings. 5. Decks or paver patio's- structures like wood, composite wood or paver patios are another form of hardscaping. They can also extend your outdoor living area to make Gatherings more enjoyable. 6. Fountains- water features can turn outdoor living areas into peaceful and tranquil ambiance. 7. Driveways- make car pass into your home. Can be poured concrete, brick, Stone, asphalt or pavers. Ranging in many shapes, sizes, and colors. 8. Stone, concrete, paver borders- is a form of hardscaping that is used to keep grass out of landscaping beds
